Hi, I am Chiara, I am a Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Mental Health Trainer based in Herefordshire and at The Gestalt Centre Wales in Chepstow. I am a member of the BACP and I adhere to their ethical framework.
I have a deep passion for working with
children, young people and adults to help empower stronger mental health. Sometimes the world can be overwhelming, difficult to navigate, confusing and simply put hard work. Life can get messy and painful and sometimes, when this happens we do not know what to do. We can feel alone, anxious and unsure of the next step. If you are feeling like this, counselling could be the exact thing you need.
I work in schools, with 'Tappy Twins', a Community Interest Company, which was developed to support our young people, when they need it most. We are a forward-thinking, one stop support service that focuses on the mental and emotional health and well-being of children and adults; through 1-2-1, workshops and family support. Whilst we encourage positive and emotional well-being, we hold a firm focus on prevention.
I am a Person Centred therapist meaning I value and trust you as an individual. I want to explore, with you, what is going on in your life, based on your experiences and your understanding of them. I want to sit with you and let you bring into the session anything that is causing you pain, anxiety, depression or any kind of difficulty. Together, I want to help you reach a place in your life where you can grow stronger from whatever has happened to you rather than allow it to restrain you.
If you feel counselling is the next step for you I offer an initial thirty minute session for free to allow you to ask any questions and get a feel for whether or not I am the right therapist for you. You can email me on mcmastercounselling@gmail.com, contact me on here or call me on 07766001835.
Are you feeling stuck? Do you feel anxious but you cannot understand why? Has something happened to you and you do not know what to do? Is your mind busy all the time? Or does it feel numb?
If you are finding yourself struggling and in need of someone to talk to, counselling could be for you. Lots of people experience challenges and become weighed down trying to deal with them on their own. Sometimes we can feel depressed or anxious but find ourselves unable to identify why.
Together, I will encourage you to share your thoughts, experiences and feelings in a safe environment which can allow you to unravel and understand more about what might be happening in your life. This process can often lead to us feeling more empowered and in control of our own lives.
'I believe Chiara makes an outstanding counsellor because she has the skill set, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, she is professional, confidential, discreet, and empathetic to all. She is strong, resilient and focused in her approach allowing her to be sympathetic and clear minded at the same time to support individuals fully towards positive outcomes.'
'I felt nervous before meeting Chiara because I had never had therapy before but she helped me in so many ways and I am so glad I contacted her. Thank you for listening to me and actually hearing what I needed to say!'
